PATA AB is one of the leading privately-owned timber trading, management and logistics companies within Latvia and the Baltic States reading, operating since 1999. Our daughter companies have been working with forest felling and forest regeneration since 1944. PATA AB is a vertically integrated company and is fully owned by a Latvian investor. PATA AB group’s volume of forest logging during 2009 was 700.000 m3 of solid wood. In 2010 it is estimated to increase to 1,79 million m3.
We provide a complete service in forest management; from the initial stages of forest planting to felling; timber transportation to sawmills; all the way through to the production of sawn timber, fire wood, planed timber and fuel chips. We currently have the facilities to fell the forest throughout the whole year. This allows us to plan strategies around market conditions, reacting swiftly to any demand fluctuations.
We are able to supply a range of reliably-sourced timber materials. Our company has received the Forest Stewardship Certificate (FSC) for the whole of its timber delivery chain. The product range at our disposal can satisfy the vast majority of timber, construction, joinery and other needs required by our customers.
